          A young woman, Lenora Krugh, is discovered in her bathtub with her wrists slit. According to Lenora's instructions, her sister Melissa has her organs donated.

          After receiving Lenora's kidney, Victor Lawson experiences some peculiar changes. He becomes moody, takes up drawing, and develops an allergy to scallops, formerly his favorite food.

          Victor continues to exhibit bizarre behavior at home and at his job as bus driver. While driving on his bus route, Victor becomes obsessed with a stranger he sees. When Victor stalks this stranger, it appears that he has gone mad.
